Member Rate: You must be registered in our database as an NYSBCA member representative (in good standing) to receive the member rate for registration. If you are not yet a member and would like to join - click here. After your dues are paid, and your membership application has been approved, then complete the registration form to receive the member rate discount.

HOTEL INFORMATION
An East End Hotel Near the Best of Long Island Located on the tip of Long Island's famed North Fork, our East End Long Island hotel is the perfect gateway to the Hamptons. Located steps from the Long Island Aquarium, and the Peconic River. There is plenty to do near the waterfront hotel. Tour Vineyards at Aquebogue, head to the beach or sip and socialize at local restaurants. Sea Star Building - Adjacent to the Hyatt Place The Sea Star Ballroom overlooks the marina on the Peconic River, and the Coliseum Room, houses the most captivating and colorful habitats within the Long Island Aquarium. NYSBCA's events will be held in the Sea Star Building adjacent to the Hyatt Place. |

- We have limited rooms available for Saturday - first come, first served. There are NO NYSBCA events, but wanted to offer a discounted rate for those who would like to stay the weekend.
*Plus sales tax of 8.625% and occupancy tax of 5.5%. The room rate includes their gallery kitchen breakfast. Hotel breakfast hours are weekdays 6:30–9 a.m. and weekends 7–10 a.m. Note: breakfast will be served on Friday in the Grand Ballroom at 7:30 a.m.

OVERNIGHT PARKING
- INFRONT OF THE HOTEL >> There are limited parking spaces in front of the hotel. If you cannot get a spot, park to the side so you can check in, then park in the additional lots.
- ACROSS FROM THE HOTEL >> A parking lot is directly across the street from the Hyatt Place; however, you must check in at the hotel first to get your room key. The room key opens the gate to the parking lot, which is not staffed.
- BEHIND HOTEL >> There is additional parking behind the hotel where the marina is. You pass Jerry’s Restaurant on the left, and the hotel is on the right. You must check in first at Hyatt Place to get your room key to access the back doors to the hotel.
DAY PARKING
- Free municipal parking is available at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home (tan building) for attendees not staying over. The address is 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901. Look for the Sea Star Building with the blue awnings across the street.

The Sea Star building is adjacent to the Hyatt Place Hotel. All of our events will be held in the Sea Star building. Look for the blue awnings. Signs will be inside pointing you to where to go for the Welcome Reception, Sessions, and Awards Dinner.

NYSBCA offers a “Supplier Showcase” on Friday, October 25 to provide an opportunity for our Supplier members to connect in person with our school bus contractor members and industry colleagues to create new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.
The “Supplier Showcase” is an informal networking opportunity in a ballroom setting that includes 6' display tables. You are welcome to set up your table with your promotional materials and a tabletop display. Depending on the meeting room space for our general sessions, supplier “display tables” will be placed inside the meeting room or in the pre-function space next to the NYSBCA registration area.
To participate in the “Supplier Showcase,” you must be a member at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Lithium-ion level member. Basic-level members can upgrade their membership to participate. The attendee registration fee is included. You may need to purchase additional attendee registrations depending on your membership level and the number of people attending.

HOW TO SIGN-UP FOR THE SUPPLIER SHOWCASE
- Current members, complete the "Supplier Showcase" application.
- Current "Basic" members can upgrade your membership to the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level. The amount you already paid for "Basic" will be applied to your upgraded level.
- Non-members, become a member be signing up at nysbca.com/Join-Us-Suppliers and select the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level. Note the "Basic" level does NOT include the Supplier Showcase.
- Once you have become a member, then complete the "Supplier Showcase " application.
Speed Networking with Suppliers & School Bus Contractors Session
Friday, October 25, 2024 | 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM
This opportunity is for supplier members participating in the Supplier Showcase only.
The speed networking event aims to allow Suppliers to connect one-on-one with (3) Contractors to give your elevator pitch in 11 minutes to open the door and build a connection for further discussions. This is a fast-paced networking event. The Supplier's responsibility is to be prepared beforehand on how you want to maximize your time for each one-on-one session.

NYSBCA EVENT POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received after October 4 are not eligible for a refund. Thank you for your donation to support NYSBCA. Refunds will not be available for no-shows. If you cannot attend, you may send an alternate without an additional charge. Email NYSBCA your replacement contact information no later than October 18. Cancellations received by October 4 in writing will be charged a $25.00 processing fee that will be deducted from your registration fee. There is NO refund for Supplier membership dues to participate in the Supplier Showcase.
Consent to Use of Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NYSBCA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registration to NYSBCA's use and distribution (now and in the future) of the registrant or NYSBCA's images or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events activities. Unless you inform NYSBCA that you object, permission is assumed.
