NYSBCA will be holding its 65th Annual Convention, October 18-20, 2019, at The Saratoga Hilton & Saratoga City Center located in Saratoga Springs, New York. 

What is a Convention? A convention is a gathering of individuals in a particular place at a particular time to discuss or engage in a common interest.  Dialogue and conversation are the end game. While there may be speakers at a convention, the real goal is to get one-to-one face time between people who have a common personal interest.

NYSBCA’s Annual Convention provides supreme opportunities for members to hear the latest information on the state of the school bus industry.  With today’s economy, NYSBCA has also been pushing the importance of not only keeping or getting children on the school bus, but we’ve been trying to educate NY school personnel about the cost-savings private transportation can provide.  The focus of this year’s convention will be on what school bus options are available, how cutting-edge products are changing the future and how privatizing school transportation can save districts money.  Join us for avant-garde information and take time to mingle with old friends and meet new ones. Join us for a jam-packed day of workshops, networking opportunities and take a little time for yourself by mingling with old friends, meeting new ones and seeing all that historic Saratoga Springs has to offer.

Room reservations can be made online or by calling The Saratoga Hilton’s reservations department at (518) 584-4000.  The discounted rate for the NYSBCA Annual Convention begins at $219.00 per night single or double occupancy. Discounted rooms will be available until September 18th or until the room block is full. The hotel's address is 534 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Registration Fees
Registration fees begin at $395 for a member and $445 for a yet-to-be-member of the Association.

Supplier Shout Out Display Day

Introducing NYSBCA's first Supplier Shout Out Display Day! Join us for the Annual Convention and receive an opportunity to display your company's products. The first 20 NYSBCA Supplier Members receive a COMPLIMENTARY* skirted table, which will be located in the General Session room on Saturday, October 19th. *Members must be in good standing with NYSBCA and pay a full registration fee per person to participate.

Sponsorship Information
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for the Annual Convention. Sponsorships begin at $475 and -- at a minimum -- include:

  • Your marketing materials in the registration packets
  • Your company information on the NYSBCA website and in the convention program booklet
  • A special handout in the registration packet which includes your company name, contact information and description of services and/or your product.
  • An electronic list of attendees including mailing address, phone, fax and email

With a slightly higher valued sponsorship, you can also participating in the “Five Minutes of Fame” luncheon. (All sponsors are able to attend the luncheon, but to speak during the event, is available only with certain levels of sponsorship.)
